Integrity
Policies
The conference follows the guidance of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Research and Publication Ethics
Our policies cover plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabricated or falsified data, authorship, conflicts of interest, ethics approval, informed consent, data privacy and reviewer confidentiality. Studies involving people, especially school students, must show ethics clearance. Suspected misconduct is handled by the conference Ethics and Integrity Panel.
Policy on the Use of AI
- Authors disclose any use of AI tools in research or writing. AI tools cannot be listed as authors, and authors remain responsible for all content.
- Reviewers may not upload proposals or manuscripts to public AI tools, and no decision on misconduct rests on an AI-detection score alone.
- Presenters who demonstrate AI tools state the tool's purpose, its evidence base and how it handles user data.
- The secretariat may use AI tools for translation, captions and logistics only where personal data are protected.
Code of Conduct and Safeguarding
All participants, speakers, exhibitors, volunteers and staff accept the Code of Conduct, which forbids harassment and discrimination and sets out how to report concerns. Activities involving school students follow a safeguarding protocol: parental consent, adult supervision and no identifiable images published without consent.
Data Protection
Personal data are handled under Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022). Participants are told what is collected and why, data are kept only as long as needed, and no participant data are sold or passed to sponsors or exhibitors without explicit consent.
